(SPOT.ph) There are a couple of things you'll see more and more of as soon as it's the Month of Love. You've got the ubiquitous chocolates, flowers, balloons, and usual rom-com movies. It might get a bit overwhelming—whether you're single or not quite—but worry not! Now you've also got your dose of hugot-filled commercials from Jollibee to keep you company.
You might remember their heartbreaking commercials from 2017 going viral, one of them being "Crush." In the video, a guy anonymously shows his affections for a girl he likes by surprising her with burgers along with a message on a sticky note. He puts one in her locker and he gives her one when she's down. But he gets discouraged when he sees her with someone else. During a fight with her boyfriend, the girl sees the guy and finds out he's been the one giving her the surprises. But still, she walks away with her boyfriend.
Fast-forward to years later and the girl is at her school's homecoming, waiting alone at a table. But then, the guy walks in—burger and note in hand. The note reads, "Sorry, late ako," revealing that they did eventually end up together.
Now, Jollibee is back with another chapter to the lovebirds' story. In Homecoming, we see how they both got together. So, grab those tissues because it's just as heartwarming as the first one!
