(SPOT.ph) Bless their hearts—our government is just the gift that keeps on giving. In a Facebook post dated today, June 14, about outgoing Norwegian Ambassador to the Philippines Erik Forner's courtesy call to Malacañang, the Presidential Communications Office erroneously referred to the country of Norway as "Norwegia."

The original post has since been edited, but not without several Filipinos online noticing and taking screenshots of the mistake:

Some have even started cracking jokes about the incident, ensuring that this gaffe will go on to meme status:

A few took the issue quite seriously, taking the sizable budget of the Presidential Communications Office into account:

While some named names on who could be culpable for the incident:

Others thought that people online were making too big a fuss about the gaffe and that those behind the Presidential Communications Office's Facebook page were people prone to making mistakes too:

Whatever your stand on the issue is, you can't deny that the Presidential Communications Office just gave us a satisfying belly laugh. What do you think of this slip-up?
