(SPOT.ph) Summer blockbuster action flicks may be hitting the cinemas non-stop but that doesn't mean you still can't cry your eyes out because of a sappy romance drama—especially if it stars Nadine Lustre and James Reid. Plus, you're sure to double the tears because Never Not Love You is directed by Antoinette Jadaone (Love You to the Stars and Back, That Thing Called Tadhana). So it's time to ready those tissues, because it'll be screening at Black Maria Cinema from May 4 to 8.
You can also make it a movie date because it'll be screening as late as 10 p.m. (and even 12 a.m.)! Tickets are at P230.
Never Not Love You revolves around the relationship of career-driven Joanne (Lustre) and the laid-back Gio (Reid). Things change when Gio applies for a job in London, gets an offer, and brings Joanne there with him—prompting her to quit her job in the Philippines. Resentment starts rising between the two when Gio finally has his dream job while Joanne is working tables as a waitress. There's sure to be a more than a few heartwrenching scenes—whether you're in a complicated (maybe long-distance) relationship or just looking for a reason to catch your fave love team.
