Anne Curtis

Designer: Monique Lhuillier

Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff’s wedding was one of the most-awaited events of 2017—and it did not disappoint. They had a beautiful prenup shoot in South Korea where Anne visited all her favorite K-Drama locations and Erwan ticked off must-visit places for legit Korean food. Before their wedding, they threw a welcome party for all their guests who flew all the way to New Zealand, and Anne donned a long, frothy Vera Wang dress. But the highlight was when Erwan watched his bride walk down the aisle in a dreamy lace number made by Monique Lhuillier, a Filipino-American designer based in Los Angeles. In an Instagram post, Lhuillier shares the story behind the gown, saying it was important for Anne that her gown be just as extraordinary as her love for Erwan. She shares, “The end result is a regal, lace ball gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline, sheer long sleeves, and an exaggerated, cathedral-length train with matching hand applique lace veil.”

Vicki Belo

Designer: Michael Cinco

Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho went all out for their grand and lavish wedding. Of course, if they had their wedding in the City of Lights, a reception at the just-as-majestic Opéra Garnier, and hired chauffeur-driven cars for all their guests, you can expect that Vicki’s gown will be more than impressive. Designed by Dubai-based Michael Cinco, Vicki opted out of the usual white and went for a blush-pink hue. While the gown itself was picture-perfect, its three-meter long train made it even more eye-catching. The train is made of French lace, and it’s also embroidered with a Baroque-inspired pattern and transparent and rose opal Swarovski crystals.

Chynna Ortaleza

Designer: Edwin Tan

Chynna Ortaleza and Kean Cipriano first tied the knot in a civil wedding in 2015 before deciding to have a church wedding in 2017. Staying true to their playful personalities and relationship, Chynna chose to wear a strapless, dove-gray gown made by Edwin Tan that had an embellished bodice. What made it even more unique is the train that doubles as a cape!

Rochelle Pangilinan

Designer: Michael Cinco

After dating for seven years, TV personalities Rochelle Pangilinan and Arthur Solinap tied the knot in a wonderful ceremony in Tagaytay. Just as beautiful as the bride was the Michael Cinco-designed mermaid-cut gown whose cape was three meters long. The Spanish fan-inspired cape was also embellished with pearls, beads, and Swarovski crystals. The intricate gown was even praised by Emirates Woman, a Dubai-based magazine, as "Michael Cinco's most stunning dress yet.”

Max Collins

Designer: Francis Libiran

Actors Max Collins and Pancho Magno wed in December 2017 after getting engaged in May of the same year. Max’s white, sleeveless gown flowed seamlessly and looks every bit princess-like with its beaded details and low-cut back. Max also didn’t need jewelry because her embellished neckline was already the perfect accessory!

Ai-Ai Delas Alas

Designer: Frederick Peralta

The Queen of Comedy tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Gerald Sibayan in a wedding gown that was reportedly given as a gift by her best friend, Marian Rivera. The white, princess-like ball gown has a low-cut bodice and features intricate patterns. But Director Louie Ignacio made the gown even more detailed and romantic by hand-painting the colorful floral prints on the veil.

Divine Lee

Designer: Rajo Laurel

It seems that more and more brides have been opting for a not-so-usual white dress for their special day. TV host and personality Divine Lee wed businessman Blake Go in Cebu in a golden gown designed by celebrity-favorite Rajo Laurel. In an Instagram post, Divine shares that Rajo knows her size so well, she only had to go for a fitting once. She also explains that she usually wears bridal gowns to events, so she wanted something different for her actual wedding gown. What they came up with was a gown with a sweetheart neckline and bead embellishments that lined the dress. Divine completed her look with a thin, white veil and looked every bit like her name.

Camille Prats

Designer: Patricia Santos

Actress Camille Prats married her former schoolmate, businessman VJ Yambao in a sunlit garden wedding in Batangas. The beautiful ceremony was topped with an incredibly detailed, off-shoulder gown designed by Patricia Santos. Every inch of the gown is covered in an intricate pattern and the long and fluffy train made it look like she was walking on clouds (which she must have felt, too!).

Gladys Reyes

Designer: Zandra Lim

Celebrating 25 years of being together, actors Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas “wed” once again by reaffirming their vows at Iglesia ni Cristo in Tagaytay. She donned an off-shoulder gray gown made by Zandra Lim. It came with lace appliques, complete with a long and elegant train that made her look as if she was just about to say her vows for the first time.

Maxene Magalona

Designers: Mark Bumgarner (church wedding) and Vera Wang (beach ceremony)

Before they were wed in a blissful ceremony on the shores of Boracay, Maxene Magalona and Rob Mananquil had an intimate church wedding with only their loved ones and a few select guests. Maxene wore a short, white frock designed by Mark Bumgarner during the church ceremony, topped with a white leather jacket styled by Rob. Together, the couple's jackets read, “Just Married.” At the beach ceremony, she wore a white, long, flowy dress from Vera Wang’s Iconic Wedding Dress Collection, called “Odelle.” The strapless gown with a mermaid silhouette is made out of silk-crepe and features a cut-out back—its simplicity making it more beautiful.
