(SPOT.ph) Thanks to the success of Art in the South in 2017, the art festival returns this year on April 22 at Filinvest Tent Park in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The 2018 festival, though, has a new name: South Arts Festival.
"We have known artists, but we also put them alongside those who are still rising and who cannot join big festivals because they lack representation from a gallery or art group," shares organizer and artist JJ Duque regarding what to expect from the festival this year. As in last year's event, they will feature artists from Muntinlupa, Laguna, Parañaque, Las Piñas, and Cavite. There will be more than 60 booths showcasing a variety of art. Best thing about it? Entrance is free.
