(SPOT.ph) The Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino saw eight Pinoy movies take over cinemas nationwide from August 15 to 21. But it seems that moviegoers still want more of the films, as there have been additional screenings in theaters and microcinemas. If you didn't get to catch Ang Babaeng Allergic sa Wi-Fi, this is finally your chance—the film will be screening at select SM Cinemas starting on September 19. You don't even have to shell out a lot, because tickets are only at P99 each!
The quirky rom-com revolves around Norma (Sue Ramirez), who's addicted to social media like many teenagers her age. Things suddenly change when she finds out that she has "electromagnetic sensitivity"—which means she's allergic to wi-fi. She then gets relocated to a remote place without telephones, wires, signal, and worst of all, her boyfriend (Markus Peterson). But through it all, her best friend Aries (Jameson Blake) stays by her side. The cast also includes Yayo Aguila, Boots Anson-Roa, and Candy Pangilinan among others.
The movie, directed by Jun Robles Lana, will be screened at SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, SM Manila, SM Fairview, SM Southmall, SM Sta. Mesa, and SM Marikina. It will also be screened at SM Bacoor, SM Iloilo, and SM Cebu.
Ang Babaeng Allergic sa Wi-Fi returns to theaters on September 19.
