(SPOT.ph) Filipinos have long been fascinated with all things Korean. But if you're a casual viewer who enjoys watching shows or movies with a little bit of Korean culture in it, you can start with K-movie remakes first. VIVA Films just released the teaser trailer for their adaptation of Miss Granny, the beloved 2014 comedy film that originally starred Na Moon-hee and Shim Eun-kyeung. The Pinoy remake, directed by Joyce Bernal, is top-billed by Sarah Geronimo and James Reid.

Also starring Nova Villa and Xian LimMiss Granny follows the story of Fely, a grumpy and controlling elderly woman who finds out that her son might send her to a nursing home soon. After she goes to a strange and mysterious photo studio to have her portrait taken (so she can look good in her funeral photos), she's shocked to find that she's back...in her 20-year-old body.

There's no word yet on the film's release date, but we're keeping our fingers crossed (or hearts?) that it's coming soon!
