(SPOT.ph) It seems that the people behind box-office hit Kita Kita have been busy with new projects. Its director, Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, is set to release Mr. and Mrs. Cruz, a film about two strangers who meet while traveling in Palawan. Meanwhile, Kita Kita's producers are back with another hugot-filled rom-com called Meet Me in St. Gallen, that's set to hit theaters on February 7.
Jesse (Carlo Aquino) and Celeste (Bela Padilla) meet after she gives a fake name, Katy Perry, to the coffee shop’s barista. They then realize that their names are the same as those from the break-up rom-com, Celeste and Jesse Forever. They bond over conversations about relationships and end up having a one-night stand. They eventually part ways before meeting up again a few years later at the same coffee shop.
The film was directed by Camp Sawi director, Irene Villamor. Some of the scenes were shot in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
