(SPOT.ph) It's a great year to be a '90's kid: You can visit a Hello Kitty-themed café in Manila, Tamagotchi will soon be playable on your smartphone, and Japan is opening a Pokemon-themed café! The new Pokemon Café will open together with a new Pokemon Center at Takashimaya Department Store on March 14, 2018.

Japan has hosted Pokemon Café pop-ups in the past, including one that completely revolved around Pikachu, but this is the first time that a permanent Pokemon-themed café is opening. Judging from the previous pop-ups, you can expect Pokemon-themed burgers, curry, desserts, and more. We're crossing our fingers they at least open a pop-up here, too, but for now, time to save up for that trip!
The Pokemon Café will open at Takashimaya Department Store, 241 Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
