From the makers of Manam, Ooma, and 8Cuts comes a new delivery-only brand, Cuckoo.
The Moment Group launched Cuckoo in February, following the launch of their first delivery-only, pancit brand Papa Pancitan in December 2020. The chicken-centric Cuckoo is all about fried chicken in different forms and flavors.
Cuckoo’s chicken wings come in 7 flavors: classic (savory); buffalo (tangy, spicy); hot buffalo (smoky, spicy); garlic parmesan (garlicky, buttery); gochu glaze (salty, sweet); and the house asim special with a sinigang kick. Six pieces cost P245, while 4 pieces with rice cost P199.
Select flavors are also available as boneless strippers in 10 pieces (P299) and in 5 pieces with rice (210). You can also get a Cuckoo bucket of 6 legs and thighs for P449. For one piece with rice it’s P169, and for two pieces, it’s P220.
Cuckoo also offers a mildly sweet-spicy crispy chix (P220), a chicken sandwich served with fresh slaw. For snacking purposes, there’s the fried butt bombs, deep-fried pieces of boneless chicken pops, in barbecue flavor for P99 per 9 pieces.
Cuckoo’s also got some side dishes – fried mac and cheese balls (P69), sweet potato mash (P69), fries (P39), and rice (P39).
Cuckoo is available for same-day or pre-schedule delivery via their website, GrabFood, Pick-A-Roo, or hotline. Their cloud kitchens are located in Makati, Alabang, Taguig, Ortigas, and Legazpi Village. – Rappler.com
