It was a big day for Bea Alonzo on February 10 – the actress marked 20 years in showbiz and reached 1 million subscribers on her YouTube channel on the same day.
Bea celebrated the milestones with an Instagram post, saying: “It’s a great feeling to have you guys support me in every step of my journey. You are a big part of those 20 years, and I wouldn’t have gotten here without your undying love and support. My heart is full. Salamat (Thank you).”
“Life is indeed beautiful,” she added.
Bea started her YouTube channel in 2018, sharing videos that give a glimpse into her life – from travel vlogs, to makeup tutorials, to a tour of her house.
The actress is known for starring in some of the most memorable Filipino films in recent history, including One More Chance and Four Sisters and a Wedding. She also starred as the title character in I Love Betty La Fea, the Filipino remake of the hit Colombian telenovela.
Bea had her first showbiz break in 2001 when she was launched as part of Star Circle Batch 10 alongside Dennis Trillo, Alfred Vargas, Nadine Samonte, and Andi Manzano. Star Circle, now Star Magic, is ABS-CBN’s talent training and management arm. – Rappler.com
