IPINAG-UTOS ng Philippine National Police ang mas maigting na police visibility sa mga barangay, para matiyak at matulungan ang mga local government units sa pagpapatupad ng pagbabawal sa mga videoke o karaoke tuwing umaga o may oras ng mga klase.
Sinabi ni Police Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, pinuno ng Joint Task Force COVID Shield, na dapat itong tutukan ito ng mga police commanders lalo na ang ban sa mga barangay level sa maiingay para matiyak na walang istorbo.
“Our students are already struggling to adapt to this type of learning and the least that we could do is to make sure that they are not distracted by unnecessary loud noises in their respective communities for them to focus on their school work,” sinabi ni Eleazar sa isang pahayag.
May ilang mga siyudad na ang nagpatupad na ng ban sa karaoke tuwing umaga o maiingay na mga patunog habang nagaaral ang mga bata.
Kabilang diyan ang Manila, Navotas City, Pasay City at sa Cebu City.
“We leave it to the discretion of the LGUs to find a middle ground between the right of the students for peaceful online classes and the consideration for their constituents to use videoke to unwind,” sinabi ni Eleazar.
Nakipagkoordina na ang PNP sa Department of the Interior and Local Government para makipagkoordina sa mga barangay tanods at sa public order ng mga siyudad para sa pagpapatupad ng ban. (Kiko Cueto)
