(SPOT.ph) There have been a couple of new additions to Netflix's slate recently—from the thrilling BuyBust to the epic Heneral Luna, to new rom-com classics like Kita Kita and That Thing Called Tadhana, and other blockbuster hits. There's even an anime series based on a Filipino graphic novel Trese in the works! But it looks like streaming junkies are in for yet another treat—both seasons of the original Meteor Garden (yes, the Taiwanese version), will be available for streaming on November 15. The announcement was sneakily made on Netflix Philippines' Twitter account through a meme. (How else?) SPOT.ph then confirmed the news with a representative of Netflix Philippines.
You: Kailan magkaka Meteor Garden sa PH? Ang unfair bakit walang Meteor Garden dito?

A remake of the hit TV series premiered earlier in 2018. Also called Meteor Garden (but starring an all-new cast), the new show was released on the streaming platform—except for the Philippines. That's because ABS-CBN bought the rights to air the show in the country. They eventually made the 2018 show and the original show available on iWantTV (which will soon be iWant).
Now, fans can also watch the original Meteor Garden—with Barbie Hsu as Shan Cai, Jerry Yan as Dao Ming Si, Vic Zhou as Hua Ze Lei, Ken Chu as Xi Men, and Vaness Wu as Mei Zuo—after they've binge-watched Stranger Things or Riverdale.
