(SPOT.ph) It took over the best-selling list as the first book from Kevin Kwan's trilogy. Then it dominated movie theaters when it became a blockbuster hit earlier in 2018. Now, it might just take over your phone (or whatever gadget you use for streaming) because you can now watch Crazy Rich Asians on HOOQ.

The movie, directed by Jon M. Chu, revolves around the rags-to-crazy-rich story of Rachel Chu (Constance Wu). She starts dating Nick Young (Henry Golding), who invites her to his best friend's wedding in Singapore. It's only when she gets to the Lion City does she realize that Nick actually comes from one of the most affluent (and powerful) families in Asia—a fact hilariously explained to her by her best friend Peik Lin (Awkwafina).

Not only is Crazy Rich Asians the first Hollywood movie in decades to star an all-Asian cast, but it also features two Pinoys. Nico Santos plays the fun and quirky Oliver, Nick's cousin who teaches Rachel everything she needs to know about couture and dressing for an event worthy of the Young family. And who could forget Kris Aquino's highly publicized role as the elusive but highly respected Princess Intan? A member of Malay royalty, she steals the scene during the wedding, when all eyes turn to her as Rachel herself approaches her to talk about her work.

You can access HOOQ by going to their website, or you can also download their app from the App Store for Apple users or from the Google Play Store for Android users. If you're a first-time user, you can get a 30-day free trial that lets you watch over 10,000 TV series and movies—including some local titles.
