(SPOT.ph) It's been a great year for romantic comedies so far—what with everyone talking about Crazy Rich Asians and To All the Boys I've Loved Before. But adding to the list of movies that will make you swoon and feel all sorts of kilig is a South Korean blockbuster called On Your Wedding Day. The movie, which premiered in South Korea on August 22, will be hitting Philippine cinemas on September 19.
On Your Wedding Day stars Park Bo Young (from hit K-Drama Strong Girl Bong-soon) as Hwan Seung Hee. While in high school, she meets Hwang Woo Yeon (Kim Young Kwang), who falls in love with her. They graduate from high school and meet again after 10 years—when Seung Hee invites Woo Yeon to her wedding. The two stars of the film last worked together on a 2014 movie entitled Hot Young Bloods.
The movie grossed nearly U.S. $800,000 on its opening day in South Korea, and reached one million admissions after a week in cinemas.
On Your Wedding Day opens in Philippine cinemas on September 19.
