(SPOT.ph) In case you missed it, Presidential Communications Operations Office assistant secretary and political pundit Mocha Uson drew flak for a now-viral video on federalism. In the video, Asec. Uson's friend and fellow blogger Drew Olivar is seen performing a lewd dance to a jingle with the lyrics: "I-pepe, i-pepe, i-dede, i-dede, i-pede, pede, pede, pederalismo!" The same video also showed Uson and Olivar spouting facts about federalism and other federal states, which were later proven to be erroneous.

To add to the online backlash, Uson's video was heavily criticized by senators for being in poor taste. But not everyone disapproved of the video. In Facebook and Twitter posts dated August 6, writer and political blogger Sass Sasot defended the controversial jingle, and expounded on the effect federalism would have over reproductive health needs. In her statement, she said: "Federalism will lead to healthier pepe and dede. Healthier pepe and dede will lead to healthier communities."

Pinoys online were confused by Sasot's statement, and many responded to what they feel may be a reach in logic. While some were annoyed at Sasot, others turned to humor and snark to get their points across. Here are 10 of the most noteworthy reactions.
Some found Sasot's defense LOL-worthy.

May we suggest an Elastigirl reference?
Sabi ni Sass Sasot, may connection daw ang PEPE at DEDE nila Mocha sa Federalism. Kasi madaling matutugunan daw ang reproductive health needs ng mga tao.
