Widely considered to be one of Leo Tolstoy's best works, War and Peace explores the state of Russia during the invasion of Napoleon II through the eyes of five aristocratic families. Originally written by Tolstoy in a mix of Russian and French, the novel has been translated into English numerous times, and was also translated into several other languages such as Chinese, French, and Spanish.
