(SPOT.ph) It may officially be the rainy season in Manila, but any city dweller knows that this doesn't exactly mean the hot and humid days are gone. In fact, the weather's even crazier now—it could be sunshine one minute then a never-ending downpour the next, which makes going out for coffee feel like a chore. Making your own cuppa is now easier with the arrival of Nespresso in the Philippines. And to match the country's tropical weather, they've introduced new limited-edition blends and a new VIEW Iced Kit that's specially designed to make iced coffee!

Nespresso launches two limited-edition iced blends: Inspirazione Salentina and Inspirazione Shakerato. Meanwhile, the VIEW Iced Kit includes VIEW iced glasses and an iced-cube tray. With a few vigorous shakes, you can make your own barista-style coffee at home.
The Inspirazione Salentina is a sweet and delicate blend that pays homage to the Caffè alla Salentina, a special iced-coffee recipe from Italy. This coffee’s smooth and round texture introduces some much needed dolce to the palate while refreshing the senses with its indulgently nutty and roasted aromas. Adding almond milk makes this a delightfully pleasant drink, too, creating a wonderful and velvety cream texture that seals the experience.

As its name suggests, Inspirazione Shakerato should be shaken and not stirred. An elegant yet intense brew topped with a golden and creamy foam, this coffee is guaranteed to jolt even the most sleep-deprived person with the smell of cocoa. To make the most of this bold and full-bodied concoction, prepare the Shakerato in the shaker with ice and sugar; shake it vigorously, and voila: Refreshing iced coffee ready in almost an instant.
