(SPOT.ph) It's no secret that the Metro's major thoroughfares get jam-packed with motorists on a daily basis. But expect traffic to get even heavier in certain parts of Pasay early next week—a wave of automobile and car racing enthusiasts from all over the globe are expected to arrive in the country for the annual Federation Internationale de l'Automobile Sports Conference, which will be held in Pasay City from June 4 to 6.
The Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) Sports conference will be bringing a notable volume of international delegates from over 143 countries to the country. This will be the first time the FIA Sports Conference will be held not just in the country, but in Asia.
Although no roads will be closed, the Metro Manila Development Authority warned motorists to expect an unusually high volume of traffic in the following areas where the delegates are expected to pass: Roads surrounding the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the Conrad Hotel, and SM Mall of Asia. Metro Manila Development Authority traffic enforcers will be deployed to help manage the heightened traffic situation in Pasay early next week. Plan your work commute accordingly!
