(SPOT.ph) As a child, you may have looked up to the sky and wondered what's out there. You may have even wished to suit up like an astronaut and walk on the moon (or shake hands with an alien like in the 1982 film E.T.). Whatever kind of fascination it may have been, now you have a chance to spark that interest once again through The Mind Museum's newest traveling exhibition, Space Adventure: Journey to the Wonders of the Universe, which runs until December 30.

Open to kids and kids-at-heart aged two years and above, the interactive exhibit features three areas: Fantastic Universe, Discover Our Solar System, and Explore Outer Space. The first leg makes learning about constellations fun through a Star Wheel and a Geoboard, lets you speculate about the possibilities of alien life through the Draw an Alien activity, and gives a rundown of the universe's 13.8-billion-year history through a Cosmic Calendar.

In Discover Our Solar System, the young ones are taught why Pluto is no longer a planet—a fact that we still haven't gotten over! It also approximates what your weight would be if you were on Jupiter or Neptune. It's the perfect time to experience floating in space—even if it's just an optical illusion made possible by the Teleporter.

The third part lets you imagine life on Mars. Much like the The Martian, minus the planting of potatoes and sleeping in the coldest temperature.

We don’t know about you, but this exhibit makes us want to say, “Houston, we’re ready for take-off!”

Space Adventure: Journey to the Wonders of the Universe runs until December 30 at The Mind Museum, J. Y. Campos Park, 3rd Avenue, Bonifacio Global City. Tickets are priced at P250 (one and a half hours) and P400 (all-day pass) or you can get the Space Adventure + Mind Museum three-hour package for P340 (public school students and teachers), P650 (kids), P775 (adults). Time slots are at 90-minute intervals from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
