Jeon Jong Seo sparked controversy when she appeared at Incheon Airport on 15th May. She was on her way to attend the 71st Cannes International Movie Festival. Netizens criticized her for showing angry expressions in the photos taken.
She revealed, 'I cried because of a personal issue that day, the photos were taken after that cry. I don't really know what's right and what's wrong, but I know I was careless, but things happened for a reason. Hopefully everyone could see it as an exception, indifference is not wrong, not only this particular issue, hopefully everyone could see things differently.'
