(SPOT.ph) Staying in town over the Holy Week holidays? Heads up: The Manila Metro Rail Transit System and Light Rail Transit Authority are taking advantage of the upcoming Lenten holidays to perform maintenance activities.
The Manila Metro Rail Transit System (a.k.a. MRT-3) will be closed from March 28 (Holy Wednesday) to April 1 (Easter Sunday). It will go back to normal operations on April 2, Monday with its daily schedule of 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Line 2 of the Light Rail Trainsit, on the other hand, will be closed from March 29 (Maundy Thursday) to April 1 (Easter Sunday). The last train on March 28 (Holy Wednesday) will depart Santolan at 10 p.m. and Recto at 10:30 p.m.
