(SPOT.ph) We've heard stories of finding love (and even an ex-love) in carpool rides. This doesn't come as a surprise since we spend most of our waking hours on the road and stuck in traffic. Car-sharing drivers have become modern-day bartenders who sometimes give advice on love, career, family, and everything in between. This Valentine's season, we round up some words of wisdom from Uber drivers for every kind of rider.
For those in a relationship:
“Trust, it's either there or not there. 'Di pwede sabihin na, ‘I trust you 50%.’ You need to trust your partner 100%.”
“Always have time to talk to your partner about your feelings and the situation you are currently experiencing.”
“I told her, follow LRT: love, respect, and trust.”
For the sawi:
“Just love someone and do not ask for anything in return. If they love you back, then that is the great [sic] gift you’ll ever receive.”
Maikli lamang ang buhay, you should live your life to the fullest.”
“Life must go on even there is a broken relationship. There is a better one waiting ahead of you.”
“Love is like a rosary–full of mystery.”
For the single and ready to mingle:
Kaya ako na nag-start ng topic, and in the end, they got [each other’s] numbers and ended up dating.”
