While the names of their Valentine's Day lineup don't change, the flavors do. This year, Matinong Boyfriend is inspired by Japanese strawberry cake, with sweet cream ice cream and strawberry sorbet, plus a pound cake ripple. Matinong Girlfriend has bolder sweet-salty flavors, with dark chocolate ice cream topped with potato chips coated in more dark chocolate, and a burnt marshmallow ribbon. Taking inspiration from its name, Closure is mild and soothing with a ginger and black tea ice cream, infused with lemongrass, and sweetened with local honey.
Unresolved Issues
Like your festering issues from that one bad breakup, Unresolved Issues is the only one that remains unchanged through the years: The ampalaya sorbet with candied ampalaya chunks is back for the anti-romantic, anti-sweet-things in you.
All of the Valentine's Day flavors will be at all Sebastian's Ice Cream scooping stations starting February 1 until 28. Now you know where to take your special someone (or yourself) for an ice cream date.
