(SPOT.ph) Buy Bust, an action movie directed by Erik Matti (On the Job, Honor Thy Father), first made waves when its script was rejected for the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival. But the issue didn't seem to rock the film's boat, especially now that it just released its action-packed trailers.
The first full trailer for the movie, released on December 26, shows Anne Curtis playing a drug enforcer. She gets trapped in a drug den in the middle of a covert operation along with her colleagues. They try to find their way out of the area, only for the local residents to hunt them down and make them pay for the civilian casualties from the past operations.
Anne underwent intensive combat and weapon-handling training for her role. On her Facebook page, she also posted a mini-trailer showing an action sequence of her fighting her way through a group of attackers using whatever weapon she can find. It’s almost hard to believe that she did most of the stunts herself!
The film's star-studded cast also includes AJ Muhlach, Victor Neri, Joross Gamboa, Brandon Vera, Mara Lopez, and Nonie Buencamino. The release date for the movie is yet to be announced but it will be released this year.
