(SPOT.ph) You can count yourself lucky if you were able to catch a screening of Call Me By Your Name during the Cinema One Originals Film Festival in November. But for the rest of those movie buffs who weren’t able to catch the critically acclaimed film, you can still watch it when it screens at select Ayala Cinemas on January 31, 2018.
Directed by Luca Gaudagnino, the film depicts an idyllic summer romance between Elio (Timothee Chalemet) and Oliver (Armie Hammer). Oliver is spending his summer in Italy as an intern for Elio’s father. The film is based on a book of the same name by Andre Aciman.
Among many things, the film received praise for its well-paced storytelling, which easily captured the palpable chemistry between the two leads. The film also stars Michael Stuhlbarg, Amira Casar, and Esther Garrel.
