(SPOT.ph) As the world’s first fully painted movie (it took over 65,000 frames!), art enthusiasts and movie buffs were understandably excited about the release of Loving Vincent. After seven years in the making, the movie finally made its premiere in the Philippines back in October for the QCinema Film Festival. If you weren’t able to catch the screenings, don't worry because you can still see the movie at selected SM Cinemas starting November 24.
Loving Vincent follows the events that transpired after Vincent Van Gogh’s mysterious death. The film depicts his complicated relationships with the people around him. Fun fact: The story is actually inspired by the letters Van Gogh sent to his friends before his suicide.
You can watch screenings of Loving Vincent at Cine Lokal’s partner SM Cinemas, which include SM MOA, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, SM Fairview, SM Southmall, and SM Manila. Ticket prices are at P150.
