(SPOT.ph) Yup, millennial pink is still everywhere: from bags, to sneakers, tumblers, even cake! For the Christmas season, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf just launched the Strawberry Shortcake (P145/slice, P1,450/whole), in a picture-perfect shade of pink that’ll look good on any flatlay.
But it’s not all about aesthetics with this stunner. Think sweet strawberries-and-cream filling (with real strawberry bits!) sandwiched between layers of luscious vanilla shortcake, then covered in strawberry whipped cream. You get the fruity sweetness of strawberries playing against the milky cake, but the result is not too saccharine at all. A slice is perfect with a warm mug of coffee or tea—though you'll likely end up having more than one.
